Tina and Jeff first met in college in 2009, when Jeff, freshly returned from serving in Iraq, joined one of Tina’s study groups. They fell in love, built a life together, and in 2016, said “I do” in their friend’s backyard.
Years later, while pregnant with twins, Tina discovered a rapidly growing lump in her neck. The biopsy confirmed stage 4 cancer. At just 20 weeks pregnant, she had to wait 12 more weeks to safely deliver before beginning an aggressive regimen of chemotherapy and radiation at Stanford. Her cancer has since progressed to her liver.
And yet, through it all, Tina remains a light. Her strength and determination to show up for her five children and Jeff each day is extraordinary.
We were deeply honored to help bring their vow renewal to life. It was a day filled with love, joy, and the kind of moments that remind us all what truly matters.
Because when time becomes uncertain, celebrating love becomes urgent. And none of this would be possible without the generosity of vendors who show up and make the impossible happen.
