brume,
Two intense weeks, deeply human, almost unreal.
For the first time, I met so many people and spoke openly about my photography, my vision, my life, my path. In French, English, and Japanese. Above all, I felt genuine connections. Simple, sincere moments.
This is why I started photography, to connect with people, to share experiences and emotions.
It made me feel even more at home here, as if Japan were becoming, little by little, my second home.
Seeing people take the time to come, to look, to feel, and to share their thoughts on my work, even for a modest exhibition, meant more to me than I can express. I’m still processing it.
What I do know is that these two weeks enriched me deeply. This experience feels like a milestone. And this exhibition was also my way of saying thank you to Japan, to its culture, to people.
Thank you to everyone who came, for your presence and your words.
Thank you to Shimada 229, and to my team Atelier 5 Éléments, for the trust and the opportunity.
For my dear friend Ugo, this one was for you, brume.
