MADE 2024 Dream Build #2 - TELBERT Continental
To continue our @made.bike round up, the second on our list is this gorgeous bike from UK builder @telbertdotcom . We were fortunate to get connected with Talbert through supporting him and his partner race The Transcontinental Race this year and we thought what better way to continue that support then have his hand built bike fresh off the TCR on display. Thanks to Telbert’s stunning paint job and partners at @posedla.cc and @tailfincycling this bike caught the attention of everyone who swung by the booth at MADE. #TheChaseIsOn

Meet Telbert from @telbertcycles , one of our @sramroad 2025 Inclusivity Scholars - a father, frame builder, educator, audax troublemaker and the kind of person who can turn a kid’s dream into a rolling reality.
This year’s brief came from his son, Adisa, and it had exactly two requirements:
💜 it has to be purple
🦖 and it has to look like a dinosaur
So Telbert did what Telbert does and made it happen. And yes, it’s glorious.
With support from @sramroad , @zippspeed , @posedla.cc , @ridededa and @fsa_road , the build came together with clean lines, clever details and just the right amount of prehistoric attitude.
But the best part? This is who he is. Telbert believes everything is possible - whether that’s dreaming up wild bikes with his kid or riding Paris-Brest-Paris on a fixed wheel (three times!) and bringing a whole team along for 2027.

There were two points in the brief from Adisa with this build.
It needed to be purple and it needed to look like a dinosaur!

The build includes a @ridededa fork and handle bars with @fsa_road stem and headset giving us the clean looks of internal routing.

From his Bristol workshop, Telbert @telbertcycles builds bikes that speak to representation and opportunity. Alongside running community maintenance projects for young people, he’s developing frames that make junior racing more accessible—starting with a gravel rig inspired by his son.
Telbert Cycles will be exhibiting with @sramroad at @bespoked.cc Dresden 2025.
The kid has been asking for a bike build for some time now so we set on putting one together over the summer break…
