While everyone is tapering from a summer full of riding @luftlosangeles and @pasnormalstudios decided to throw a 300km race… so @dricthedad and I decided that was too much and showed up to do less than half🤷🏽‍♂️ We were very happy to see that after a summer of not riding to much we could hold some of the strongest rider’s in LA eight hour pace for a solid hour and a half. Already a little over a week out and still buzzing from our trip to @letourfemmes . The energy surrounding the event is something that is truly special and I’m very grateful to have been able to experience it. Thank you @dominiquepowers for having me for my second internship (I’ve heard I might be promoted to assistant soon🤞🏽) and to all the amazing friends new and old who I was able to spend time with. Still catching up on sleep and I could write many more things but I am hungry and have waffles burning.

I had the pleasure of taking 30+ or so friends out for a big day on the bike last weekend for @pasnormalstudios Mid Summer ride. Having always been intimidated by big rides, I decided to keep me accountable I’d hire @properjay to help plan a crazy route through LA and the community showed out. It was fun, it was hard but it was so worth it. It’s hard to encapsulate what almost 9 hours on the bike looks like but I think these sum up the slow descent into tiredness quite well. 📍Tongva & Chumash Land 📷: @lauandy_ @properjay & me

From riding up way to steep hills, to single track trails, to an amazing women’s panel, this weekend had it all. The Austin cycling community is something special. A friend recently said that the cycling industry only works if we take care of relationships we value. I was fortunate to join @pasnormalstudios on a Destination Everywhere trip which wasn’t the easiest or driest few days on the bike but an absolutely wonderful experience.
