We leave today for @bespoked.cc London. I think the London show is my favorite. It’s the scale. It’s smaller. More manageable and I’m able to spent more 1:1 time with the builders.
Most importantly, though, is I’m elated to see all my friends! There are wayyyy too many to list so I’ll share my portrait of @rasch.cycles – this was a fav, because Kata selected the place she wanted her portrait taken.
Shows like Bespoked are all about collaboration and to the lovely people who put this show on, and to all the punters, you make it so magical.

Build a new frame for a city-oriented bike, inspired by my red frame from last year. I really appreciated the opportunity to build this frame and look forward to seeing the finished bike on the streets of Berlin! 🫶

Kata Rasch of @rasch.cycles came to BESPOKED Manchester’25 with her first-ever frame - a little nervous, very open, and ready to learn. She builds from lived experience, designing for smaller riders who are too often an afterthought.
Later that year she was selected for the @sramroad Inclusivity Scholarship for the Dresden show - a fitting next step for a builder steadily carving out her own space.
Her motto? “Braze down patriarchy every day, everywhere.”🤝

What a wonderful weekend last week. In 2023, I attended Bespoked Dresden as a visitor for the first time, I never could have imagined back then that one day I would exhibit myself. I am very proud to have chosen this path and am grateful for the many great conversations I had last weekend.
However, without the support of some people, it wouldn’t have gone so well.
