Our next TD-BCN Hack Day meetup is coming! Saturday May 16th, 12:00–18:00 at Lab TMDC (Carrer Cobalt 57).
This time we have a theme: point clouds.
Bring a project, start something new, or just come hang out and see what people are making. We’re getting creative around point clouds as a group — scans, splats, particle systems, weird data, whatever pulls you in.
See you there 👾 #touchdesigner #hacking #pointcloud #generativeart #newmediaart
Tonight we start with @ditherbit_ bringing together TouchDesigner with custom Ableton instruments with a fabric of resampled and deconstructed compositions from a decade of works in bass music and beyond.
See you in a bit!!
Self-described as an “avant-garde experimentalist,” @malisimapc builds sonic worlds from the boundary between emotional chaos and absurd humor. Her music is an attempt to inhabit the present, even if it comes with a bit of background noise and a slightly broken heart.
@turing_texture compliments this sound with the infinite journeying between textures and visual phenomena
See you tonight!!
@executor.live bringing distorted and improvised modular techno with self made hardware while @nancyelazzi aka @nansynth guides us through her surreal psychedelic world
See you tonight!!
Tonight starts with @coastmoriya and @depthbuffer_studio A live audiovisual performance designed to transport the audience back in time. The visuals create a nostalgic yet refined digital landscape that feels both familiar and dreamlike. The sound moves between calm and energetic states, forming an evolving sonic journey shaped through improvisation.
Together, sound and visuals invites the audience to drift, feel, and move.

@emra_grid ‘s sonic palette intricately blends dark industrial distortion with a dense harmonic range, creating compositions that exude both serenity and ominous allure. Navigating through genres from drone to ambient and pushing the outer limits of sound design, Emra Grids work consistently maintains a characteristic touch of personal content, offering a glimpse into his unique artistic perspective.
With a sound that experiments with the relationship between sound and empty space, Emra Grid’s sonic landscapes unfold as a highly visual synthesis of soundscapes, drones, and continuous permutations of bass frequencies.
@pri_mate likes his maps with the same intensity he despise tech bros. Working at the intersection of critical media and sensitive cooking.
Catch their performance on Sunday at our anniversary A/V session!! Tickets in bio
Entropic (aka Derek Gann) is a physics engineer and hardware hacker who seamlessly blends art, science and engineering into new technologies and experiences. The world is a multidimensional sea of quantized modalities ready for resonance and coherence.
This Sunday, he will present a new piece of technology, the Synesthetic Synthesizer, which morphs spatial frequencies into sound allowing you to directly hear (and feel) what you see.

Sunday Gem, @gerandergraun is a creative programmer and multimedia artist from Mexico City, currently based in Barcelona. He builds generative systems driven by physical phenomena, using code to translate the ordinary into the absurd. Integrating organic soundscapes and experimental rhythms, his work distorts the familiar to find new textures in everyday noise.
Electric duo not to miss this Sunday!
Carlos Bravo aka @verbosemusic (1991, Tui) is an instrumentalist, sound and visual artist, hardware developer, and researcher.
His work is based on the study, creation, and experimentation of light and sound from their fundamental principles, using various techniques such as electroacoustics, field recording, modular synthesis, pixel mapping, and programmable digital environments.
LXT aka @levoxtrip is a new media artist from Barcelona. Marked by an experimental approach and raw imagery, his artistic endeavors aim to unveil novel perspectives and prompt contemplation.
