Motherboard Artists Showcase presents: Malísima✨
Malísima (elle/ella) entendió el arte por primera vez un martes a las 8 de la mañana, llorando por la calle en La Seu D’Urgell camino a clase de un bachiller artístico que abandonaría tres meses más tarde.
Autodenominada “experimentalista avantgarde” y denominada “malísima (de la cabeza)” por aquellos en su entorno cercano, recurre a la cultura pop o su poca salud psico-emocional como factores influyentes en su trabajo.
Sin saber de dónde es ni cuántos años tiene, busca construir un hogar sonoro (y ganarse la vida, que eso tampoco está mal) a través de producciones bastárdicamente contemporáneas que ponen por ingredientes todos los factores, tanto interiores como exteriores, del
entorno de su día a día.
Y a veces, el no-input mixing, porque a quién no le gusta una historia de amor imposible?

Malísima (they/she) understood art for the first time on a Tuesday at 8 a.m., crying in the streets of La Seu D’Urgell on the way to class at an arts-focused high school program they would drop out of three months later. Self-proclaimed “avant-garde experimentalist” and referred to as “malísima (in the head)” by those close to her, she draws on pop culture and her fragile psycho-emotional health as influential elements in her work.
With no clear sense of where she’s from or how old she is, she seeks to build a sonic home (and make a living—because hey, that wouldn’t be so bad either) through bastardly contemporary productions that mix all the ingredients—internal and external—from her everyday environment.
And sometimes, no-input mixing, because who doesn’t love an impossible love story?

En aquesta ocasió, Robert Martinez de @mutanmonkeyinstruments presentarà USNEA, mentre Kike Kaos, sota l’alter ego Tube Tentacles, ens convidarà a endinsar-nos encara més en els límits, i les ombres, de les sonoritats experimentals. Un paisatge d’electricitat viva, circuits i textures inesperades, on la matèria sonora es desplega entre l’atzar i la invenció. L’artiste local Malíssima amenitzará la tarda amb un warmup ple de noise i sons trencats.
