United Human Services Community Center Farm wants to receive Alderwoman Taylor’s support to purchase six (6) city lots (5008, 5010, 5012, 5014, 5016, and 5018 South Throop Avenue)
Per the 20th Ward’s Community-Driven Development Process, only 20th Ward residents who reside within the voting boundaries (1-mile radius from 5008 South Throop Avenue) are eligible to vote in-person (at Ward Office), by text, or online to determine whether United Human Services Community Center Farm will receive the aldermanic support requested above.
Voting for this project will begin on Monday, May 11th, and will last for seven business days, ending on Tuesday, May 19th at 11:59 PM.
Ward 20 intentionally takes two weeks to tally votes and verify voter address eligibility. Community will receive UHSCC’s final vote via the 20th Ward newsletter and social media on Wednesday, June 3rd.

The Illinois Secretary of State Mobile DMV will be in the 20th Ward on May 13 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Residents can receive assistance with Driver’s Licenses, State IDs, REAL IDs, vehicle registration, and license plate stickers. This is a great opportunity to handle important DMV tasks in the community without making an extra trip. 💫
