💐 This Mother’s Day, Carmela Wallace is a mother on a mission, carrying forward her son’s message of honesty, vulnerability, healing, and mental health awareness. This special feature highlights a mother’s journey of strength, purpose, and perseverance as she and her eldest son Brian, continue the work her late son, music artist Juice WRLD, was passionate about during his life. Through the Live Free 999 foundation, Carmela continues to create safe spaces and resources for young people facing mental health challenges, while encouraging open conversations about emotional wellness and healing. The story also shines a light on the Homewood-Flossmoor community, the hometown where Carmela, her family, and Juice WRLD live and the lasting impact the artist’s legacy continues to have on the area and beyond.
