Institutional identity and graphic ephemera for
@kunstraum34 ; 2023–ongoing. Kunstraum 34, a non-profit art association in Stuttgart, was founded in 1982 and has supported local and international exhibitions and events in contemporary art and music for more than four decades, with a particular focus on time-based, experimental, and interdisciplinary projects.
Since 2023, we have supported the association with a visual identity, a mobile-first website, and printed matter for its exhibition program. The identity takes its cue from the vaulted cellar, Kunstraum 34’s largest exhibition space, reflected in the logo through two arch forms. Based on a reduced set of typefaces that shifts across projects, the design creates posters and flyers that balance typographic expression with a clear and recognisable information layer.
A distinctive part of the program is Klangraum, an annual festival for new music and experimental performance, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. The website brings together the current program and the forty-year history of the association, while an archive offers access to past events and activities.
