Had so much fun putting together a colorful transom window and wall mural for our new pals at @deeperdive_rva , opening soon on E Main St just down the street from the Jefferson. Spent the last week or so putting together a new full sign package for our pals at @idlehandsbread . A mix of hand drawn type and digital work made with a slightly altered version of the Oliver typeface by my pal @davesmithartist . This building has been a lot of things over the years and the standalone sign has had vinyl banners wrapped over it for atleast the last 5 years so it was very cool to paint up a couple 4x8 ACM panels and clad it properly. I love projects like this and always appreciate Jay at @idlehandsbread for letting me have creative control, you can get a lot of cool stuff done when the graphic designers are outta the room. #surehandsigns #rva #signpainter #handpainted #richmondva

Spent the last 2 days in DC gilding 3 big window signs for our pals at @dolcezzagelato ’s City Center location. Dolcezza was my very first gilding client probably 11 years ago at this point, and so great to work with every time. When the Richmond postcard mural was removed in early 2025, there was an outpouring of disappointment from the public. The mural, which had been in place for almost a decade, had become an iconic piece of public art, and community identity, for residents and visitors alike. It is in that spirit that we, the original artists, would love to bring the mural back in a fresh way. We’d like to create a rendition of the piece that reflects our diverse and inclusive city with nods to the rich history, amazing park system, and people who care about each other. Here’s where we’d love your help… We’re looking for a medium to large scale wall (the postcard murals work best at roughly 12-16’ tall by 20-30’ long) with good public visibility and access (folks will want to take photos in front of the piece). The owner of the wall will need to commit to keeping the work up for at least five years. While we appreciate all suggestions, please only send info for walls you have contact info for/are the owner of the building, as we can’t chase down every lead. Thanks for the love and support!

Thanks to @rewindvintagerva for what ended up being one of my fav windows of the year and a great way to wrap up 2025. Designed this window based on two existing logos and put together a unique window design that reflects the branding but is also very much “my style” thanks for the trust to do my thing. A reminder that painted windows can be fun they don’t all have to look like the 20’s. More of this in 2026, feel free to reach out!

Doing one last little market for the procrastinators hosted by @bigdealprojects with my pals @thenightowl , @thicketdesign , @stachesquatchdesign , and @jerrofyx . I’ll have a limited run of 12x18 Giclee prints on textured hot press, along with a small run of the “I’m not Scared” shirts, stickers and a bunch of other assorted prints and such! Roll through!
