WOW! Just, wow! We had 81 volunteers today & removed 376 pounds of trash from the beach! It’s safe to say, the first #sunofabeachcleanup was a huge success! I can’t thank you all enough! INSANE CLEANUP RESULTS. Our crew collected 2,135 pounds of marine debris in just 90 minutes at Old Rhodes Key in Biscayne National Park! 🤯
From single-use plastics to derelict fishing gear, it’s clear our marine debris crisis is a worldwide problem. HUGE shoutout to all the volunteers, donors, and partners for helping us raise over $9000 to support the ongoing cleanup efforts from @biscaynenps 🙏
