I was lucky to work with artist and innovator Imogen Heap earlier this year, on a short documentary film about a garment she is getting designed. The material is being developed by Rootfull, and is grown out of grass roots - it's amazing to see in person, and to think about the potential it has. Rachel Friere is designing the piece, and Justyn Butler is implementing screens and technology throughout to interface with Imogen's AI 'Mogen'.
It was shown at the BFI London Film Festival 2024 (this is a short version for socials, I'm not sure when the full version will be available)

Te Piringa was one of the most fulfilling and biggest projects we’ve worked on so far, documenting Len Blake and Nikau Te Huki’s journey translating their waiata into Te Reo and then performing it alongside Ngāti Ranana in London. This was the first project we’ve done filming in both Aotearoa and the UK, and it definitely had it’s challenges. We’re very proud of how the final film and live session came out, and a huge thanks to Waiata Anthems for trusting us, and the crew that helped make it happen!

Late last year, Revulva let us live out our cowboy dreams and work on the video for their new song ‘This Town’. Directed by and starring Ben Ashby along with a star studded cast of homies, this was an absolute blast to work on!
