The UK legends Crash Of Rhino’s are back! Their new LP Logbook - their first release in TWELVE YEARS - is due out on May 22nd. Storm Chasers LTD is pleased to be the home for their United States release of this MONSTER album. We are pressing a limited number on hand poured random vinyl. Every copy will be one of a kind care of the beautiful folks at @smashedplastic Currently we are taking preorders for this LP as well as the bands import reissue of their seminal album Distal. We got back together. We wrote some new songs. We set up our gear in an empty library in our hometown and a remote barn in Cumbria to record ourselves. What we made is called ‘Logbook’ and it comes out 22nd May 2026. Head to Bandcamp to listen to ‘Figures of Light’ and pre-order the vinyl and CD. Mastered by the excellent @katietavini . There’s also a pre-order for a new t-shirt. One design for the UK based on the album artwork, and one for Italy & the EU designed by @familiapovera . The pre-order for the shirts will close on Monday 2nd May so that we can ship these out with the records. We won’t be re-printing them.  Oh, there’s a repress of Distal too. It’s been a couple weeks since we lost Simon and I’ve been dragging my feet on posting this. Simon Small saved this band. They reignited the spark that allowed us to keep going - reminding us how fun it was to write and perform music with your friends. Always jostled us out of pits we couldn’t climb out of and opened the doors to every possibility. It’s been an adjustment to not speak to them every day. There’s so much I want to say but I know Simon would have just wanted me to post the album cover, title and where to get it and that’s it. Our new album, “Turn Around to Wave” is out now on vinyl through @stormchasersltd . Simon recorded it, mixed it, performed on it and helped shape all the songs. Hello, internet. Today is bandcamp Friday and I come with news. Some months ago, @pizzathehut11 and @shwan_kiwistrawberry and I decided to go about remixing the 6 song record we made under the name Merit Badge. We were young when we made it, and it intoxicating to have REALLY nice studio gear to make a little math rock album. As a result we made some... bad choices. Heavily compressed tom mics on the in? Sure, bleed isn't a problem! Should we check the tuning on the bass? Nah! But modern tools have made these things easier to fix, and the mixes are, we think, much improved. The kind folks at @stormchasersltd have pressed it to vinyl for the first and only time (thank you @intoitoverit , love you) and @joshstephenstattoos made some art an @maxwellstern laid it out. It's available for sale through our bandcamp or the storm chasers web store. In the spirit of bandcamp Friday, and given the week we in our community have had, we'll be donating any of the money from our bandcamp to Simon's gofundme to help out Sarah.
