Creating a separate story from a story you know well can be a challenge. It’s wild to see a piece that was personal at a different time in life (March of 2020), morph and resonate with you at a different path 4 years later. Last week I had the opportunity to perform at @54below for the first time in quite a long time for a foundation I care deeply about. The @hfwaa_org helps support young artists throughout their educational journey and beyond. The French Woods Family rolls deep, and spending time with them always makes my heart soar.
