And when the sun’s out, the courtyard becomes a buzzing venue for live sets and events.

All profits the studio make is reinvested back into the equipment, which allows them to improve the gear and spaces for artists. 🎸
And when the sun finally decides to come back out, their courtyard transforms into an event space with live performances from DJs.

Gut Level ascended from the depths of an archway deep in Sheffield's underbelly, rising to be the shining champions of DIY queer club culture nationwide - experts in community cultivation & party acceleration. They’re a truly special group, and we’re proud to call them friends.
Headlining the Gut Level takeover on the @spring_tank_studios stage is one of the most exciting live electronic acts right now — @jorg_kuning
Known for his singular approach to techno and house, he blends dubby, bleepy, bass-heavy, and psychedelic influences into a sound that’s entirely his own.
Support comes from local legends @aminaminaa , @be__ttyyy , and @lickquidgold_
The takeover will take place in the Spring Tank yard. The community studios are not only founding members of the festival, but also one of its key venues — hosting both this takeover and @kitchen.radio.sheff (more on that soon!).
This takeover is part of Everywhere At Once, powered by The National Lottery, taking place this June.

The first cohort of our 8 Week DJ Course have flown the nest! We’re so, so proud of them all and chuffed at what they’ve accomplished !! they all absolutely smashed it at our Next Up party ~ from being complete beginners DJs to playing a packed out @gutlevelsheffield within 8 weeks 🌸 our next DJ course at @spring_tank_studios is starting next week and our monthly social is finally BACK (woo!) on Tuesday too🫶🏻 we can’t wait to see some new faces and some familiar ones too!
