We spent a day with @tracks_uk to learn all about their brilliant work across Sheffield for young artists, providing trauma-informed alternative education for marginalised and care-experienced young people.
Offering free sessions through funding, the charity aims to break barriers and celebrate young voices. Led by a team of professional working musicians, we sat down with Lucy, co-founder, to learn about the impact Tracks can have on young people đž
Two of their current students and student-turned-mentor, Lucas, showed us the ethos of tracks, explaining everything they get up to, and were treated to some stellar performances too.

đ¶ Meet Reuben! đ¶
Reuben is a dedicated music tutor and producer he has over a decade of experience across music production, sound engineering, event curation, and workshop facilitation. In 2024, he founded Spring Tank Studios, a community-focused music studio space.
His production work includes releases on More Time Records with the UK/Congolese rap collective Bala Bala Boyz. As a DJ, Reuben has performed at major events and festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Outlook Festival (Croatia), and Nyege Nyege Festival (Uganda).
