Recorded live at UNFOLD on New Years Day 2026 in our favourite booth in the steam room.
When we arrived, the party was in full swing and the steam room was absolutely popping after BBecks played an amazing techno set so we went for high tempo and energy out the gate. We played a bit harder than at our regular Transmissions slot but wanted the set to a have sense of optimism and light as it was the dawn of a new year.

The tunes speak for themselves and bubble away at the sweep spot between progressive groovers and deep swampers with tribal percussion, flicks of acid and wonky left turns sweeping in and out, up and down, like mist rising from a lake at sunrise 🌅

We join forces with UK-based label @space.lab___ for our first collaborative night in the city, bringing together two worlds aligned by shared intent.
On the bill: @adam__pits - your favourite DJ’s favourite producer and a long-time space•lab collaborator. The label’s 10th release was his EP, defined by psychedelic textures and rolling low-end.
Joining him is space•lab founder and one-third of @inner__zone , Nic, making his city debut with tripped-out techno and progressive propulsion.
Opening the night is Bangalore’s @tonkatsukitty , moving fluidly across house, breaks, techno, and ambient.

space•cast 030 - Benk0
A special edition of the space•cast from an underground hero in London, Benk0. Booker and resident of one of London’s most vital and beloved clubs, MOT UNIT 18 / 20.
These clubs are the lifeblood of this thing we all love and it’s thanks to grafters like Trey (Benk0) that they continue to exist, burning the midnight oil weekend-in-weekend-out on a industrial estate near the Millwall football ground.
The balance of programming smaller clubs in London is an impossibly fine one, staying true to your values and booking exciting artists whilst providing a platform for the plethora of amazing up and coming DJs in London. Playing at MOT is almost a rite of passage at this point and it’s Benk0 who fearlessly navigates the ship through some of the choppiest waters in clubland.
So when the opportunity came to host a mix on the series from the man himself came, recorded at the club where he’s spent more nights than he’d care to remember over the last half decade, it was an easy yes. This set was an opening for XDB and you can tell from the classy selections, perfect pacing and smooth mixing that it was performed by someone with a detailed knowledge of the room who has respect and care of the best residents.

Alongside him will be Siamese Twins boss and purveyor of some of the finest deep excavations this side of an architectural dig; it’s Sunju Hargun! Finally, our dear Rizla - back again after Probe 2 and set to deploy her clutch of vaporous and churning dubwise drum slingers.

Biocym lands on space•lab with Fates EP, a four-track voyage crafted in Milan. The release leans into Biocym’s deep, atmospheric palette, threaded with hypnotic details and a sense of slow-burning tension.
Omen opens the sequence with a rolling, subterranean pulse—shifting silhouettes and low-lit momentum building into a driving techno workout. Fates, the title track, drifts upward into luminous atmospheric territory, its rhythm wrapped in vaporous pads and Biocym’s signature hallucinatory detailing.
Aeriform, a collaboration with SHFT, moves into harder terrain—a driving cut designed to rattle both room and ribcage. Enigma closes the vinyl EP by bending the tempo grid, delivering wigged-out half-time pressure.
On the digital release, Chimera comes as an added bonus, with galloping drums and beautiful, haunting, ethereal synth work.
Taken together, Fates EP offers a compelling continuation to Biocym’s sonic universe: deep, detailed, and designed to pull the listener into its orbit without ever overstating its presence.

We’re delighted to welcome AK-ONE, dear friend of the label and curator of the wonderful Common Ancestors universe, for space•cast 029.
Opening in a lush, sunlit forest glade, the mix unfolds with airy, textured atmospheres that gently draw us in. Gradually, intricate, progressive grooves emerge, weaving rhythm and melody into a flowing, dynamic journey.
Each tune is thoughtfully placed and blended - balancing subtle experimentation with a delicate momentum and the kind of organic textures we’ve come to know and love from Greg.
This beautiful mix is as fit for a ramble in the sunshine as an after-hours with the curtains drawn, a timeless and very welcome addition to the series.
