Doja's spaceship corridor. Originally, this set was going to be mostly VFX, with a pathway and some railings or columns, but as pre production went on, everyone was leaning into a more and more practical set. We ended up doubling the length, adding plexiglass windows, and a fabric ceiling. Concept to reality. This is Doja Cat's ship. @mikediva wanted to create a unique world that had a stark contrast to the evil, cat-stealing alien's ship. Clean, sexy, but reminiscent of the old Star Trek bridge set and how I would imagine a spaceship to be if I lived in the late 60s or something.. I wanted to make it a curved set, with staggered levels, and even snuck a digital heart shape in the floor in case we ever saw it from overhead. @cactusfabrication came thru with the custom curved walls and CNC routed custom control stations.
