@meredith_chin thank you for letting me lens “Retreat” for you. This was such rewarding experience to work on, I really enjoyed allowing each scene to breathe and find it’s own pace. I wanted this project to feel very earthy, like the landscape was breathing along side the characters. I think the wonderful location allowed us to capture that beautifully and was further enhanced by an absolutely incredible grade by @drewtekulve . I’ve done a lot of color projects with Drew and this might be one of my favorite outcomes, really appreciated him listening to all my insane rambles of what I was looking for and interpreting them perfectly. *please forgive any missing crew tags, will tag more as I find them! Recently wrapped up my third feature, one of the most special projects to date. @freakbrat asked everyone in prep what is your favorite part of being on set and I said “summer camp vibes”. @badeggsmovie filled that role to a tee and then some. I have never experienced such overnight love and obsession for people I hardly know. I’m glad to say we all came out alive and the best of friends. Can’t wait to relive this experience while watching on screen!
