Highlights from last week's sold out performance at Passages: . . So rewarding to perform in such a thoughtful space both in terms of the visuals & program curation. Thank you @dskessler for the visuals, @tebbs64 on audio, @psychicyouth for bringing me into the fold. So many other artists/creatives/helpers from the @great_circles_grcr team and beyond who made the evening special across all three sets. So much love goes into every aspect. . . I'll be living in the memory of this performance for some time to come. I hope to release the full recording of the performance in the future too...& thank you to everyone who shared pics/videos from the night 🤲🏼

Hi everyone! Happy to share that our proposal for the 2026 Art on the Parkway, entitled 'Many Philadelphias,' has been selected as one of four finalists by @assocpublicart . Here are some conceptual images from our submission. Proposals are now open to the public for feedback! Link in bio. Our vision is to create mosaic installations paired with a geospatially mapped soundwalk activated by a QR code from Maja Park. Our sound walk will feature stories from ten diverse Philadelphians about their cherished lost/forsaken objects from their places of origin which connect to our home city. Those personal items, amongst other mundane found objects, will become the subject material for the mosaics. We'll also create a responsive musical score with foley/field recorded sounds inspired by these stories - a soundwalk unique to each visitor's path of exploration. If awarded, we will propose a community program element featuring a live performance and activity. Our proposal serves three aims: amplifying diverse voices, fostering empathy across differences, and confronting our shared environmental precarity. Take a look and let us know what you think! In awe of the experience tonight at Passages! Especially grateful to have caught @psychicyouth spin 'Signal' on that sweet Klipsch sound system. Sublime @klipcollective visuals! Such a moving performance by @ectoderm88 & @meropemusic . It has been (& continues to be) a long winter in all the ways, and they really warmed/renewed my spirit 🕊️. Can't wait for the next one 🌌🙏🏼 @great_circles_grcr

Had a special two days guest lecturing at @parsonsschoolofdesign this week. Working with students from diverse disciplines - we explored ideas around reverence, constructing soundscapes, and using sound as a material for space making. Some photos here from one of two seminars. We looked 'under the hood' of @barry_stone_ and I's @porchswingorchestra collab (PSO No. 240 'Considering Transitions') in @ableton . Most fun of all, we got to cogenerate some sounds & listened to ~20 field recordings produced by the students over the week. Some students even got some @somasynths Terra play time in too ✨. It was such a pleasure to perform with @kyleturgeon at @voxpopuligallery this week, thank you to everyone who made it out. 'Trying' was immersive, moving and so tasteful in both the film & musical performance. I encourage anyone who has the chance to catch this performance to do so. I'm grateful for Kyle's trust in opening/contributing to this very precious and personal show, and for our new friendship. Here's a clip + visual-collage from my performance, improvising over one of my [unreleased] longform ambient pieces entitled 'Blissing Liquid'. Hope to do a proper release of the full piece in the future.
