Today we release our debut EP "Proprioception" out into the world. Our work together on this project over the past 2 years has been a beautiful journey of two people from contrasting lived experiences (our beliefs, ancestry, and personal histories) coming together to create music. Music has been the great harmonizer in that way, and a powerful healing force for us both, wherein we deepened our understanding that our opposite natures are in fact complimentary and should be celebrated, rather than letting them divide us. We hope in some small way our music brings a sense of peace and healing to those who hear it, as it has for us in making it.
"Proprioception" wouldn't be what it is without some amazing collaborators that we were fortunate enough to be able to work with along the way: Lora-Faye, Noah, Spencer, Sarah, Phil, Jed, we are so thankful to you all for what you gave to our music. We look forward to sharing some sweet memories we have with them in later posts.

Today we release our 4th single “Heaven” into the world.
This song in particular is very dear to our hearts. It was inspired by the film “The Specials,” a true story which depicts the harmony between two people, one Muslim and one Jewish, in pursuit of aiding youth with autism.
A friend of ours after the film said “I want to live in a world like that.”
For us the song resonates now more than ever.

We’re so grateful to share “Hourglass,” the 3rd single off of our debut EP. Link to listen is in our bio (along with our previous two singles, “Hold Clear” and "Passing Through").
Hourglass was written at a time where both of us were simultaneously experiencing multiple losses in our lives. The experience brought forth many conversations for us on mortality from a death perspective. It speaks to that fleeting moment of transition, the "pull and ascend" between this life and whatever is beyond it, "the conscious in between".
We are so appreciative of Lora-Faye Åshuvud for their production, direction on sound design/textures in this recording, and bringing us together with Spencer Zahn and Sarah Galdes on this one, who's contributions to this tune brought the song into a beautiful release and resolution at its end, making it one of our favorites on the EP.
Our hope is this song brings peace to anyone who has/will witness this universal & natural transition through loss. As ever though, we invite you to add your own meaning to what you hear.
