After more than 4 years of struggling against an old building, licensing disputes, government regulation changes, realities of operating in a โprewar buildingโ, death and other nefarious issues, we are excited to announce a new chapter for Mostly Harmless. From the start Mostly Harmless was always meant to explore people, culture, and drinks around the world. Our motto, โWe serve people, not drinks,โ along with our very name โMostly Harmless,โ have been the foundations of everything we do: connect with people, and do so with as little harm and as much honesty as possible.
In Hong Kong we became one of the first farm-to-glass cocktail bars in Asia, the first non-alcoholic cocktail bar in Hong Kong, and the first non-alcoholic bar to be listed in the top 100 of any 50 Best list. All of these achievements came about because of the relationships with our guests, our friends, and our partners. It is the Hong Kong and global communities that allowed us to do everything we have done so far, and for this we are humbled and incredibly thankful. Our teams throughout the years have also been a large part of our success . We chose to focus on introducing non-bartenders to the profession, giving space for their approach to add to the hundreds-of-year-old tradition, craft, and conversation that is cocktail bartending. The contribution of everyone who worked with us shaped the bar and pushed our direction forward, giving voice to the concept and heart to the work.
So, with that said, we have made the decision to move on from our location at 110 Queens Road West and open ourselves up to the rest of the globe. We are working on a series of pop-ups/take overs around the world, in order to bring our approach and techniques to exciting new places. Each will focus on the people, culture, and produce of that place. Our hope is that these new experiences will broaden our approach as we pursue the next locations that will be our home.

๐ฌ๐ง Can a drink list engage in a meaningful dialogue with painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso? The answer is yes โ unequivocally yes. At least according to the team behind Artifact cocktail bar in Hong Kong, which has shaped its new Volume 7 menu around the legacy of the Spanish master, narrowing the focus to Synthetic Cubism. WONDER BRIDGE | Chapter 5
Women Power: The Art of Sensibility
โญ๏ธ2025.Jan.11th 3pm-5pmโญ๏ธ
What does leadership look like when guided by intuition, care, and lived experience?
In Chapter 5 of Wonder Bridge, we bring together women who lead across bars, kitchens, and the wider industryโeach shaping culture in her own way.
Rather than loud authority, they lead through thoughtfulness, resilience, and quiet conviction.
Summer โ Vender (Taiwan)
Beckaly Franks โ The Pontiac (Hong Kong)
Enza โ Artifact (Hong Kong)
Rachel โ Chair, Asiaโs 50 Best Bars Academy
Yeon-jeong Oh โ Brand Ambassador (Seoul)
Hee Eun Kim โ Soul Dining (Seoul)
This session looks at leadership not as a title,
but as a craftโformed through sensibility, experience, and care.
It explores how awareness, decision-making, and lived knowledge are translated into service, atmosphere, and culture.
