#Throwback to a couple of weeks ago when I had the amazing opportunity to finally try the SQ Suites to London! What a luxurious experience it was and checking off an item on my travel bucket list
No I did not pay for it! Lucky enough to use my Upgrade Voucher!
One for the books ✨
Last Thursday we teamed up with @nutmegandclove for a night that brought Vancouver and Singapore a little closer, through cocktails, creativity, and a shared love for the craft.
It was an evening full of energy, connection, and seriously good drinks. Huge thank you to Colin Chia and Sim Sze Wei for bringing the magic behind the bar, and to everyone who joined us to make it such a vibe.
Until the next one!
So wonderful to have the team from @nutmegandclove at Overstory on Monday night. Thank you to @colincyc and @simseaweed for sharing your talents with us, we always love having a taste of Singapore in New York City. 🗽🇸🇬
The food highlight for our Sammi Cheng KL Weekend was definitely lunch at the gorgeous @potager.kl ! Highly recommended of influential foodie friends, I decided to give it a go.
It was the best decision ever!
I am sure it’s not a new concept of using local ingredients with French technique but at The Potager, it feels so Natural and not overdoing it. A good example was using local rice to make their lobster risotto and the rice was the start rather than the lobster meat! All the dishes were well presented and very importantly not “Over Explained”!
Their hospitality was top notched and you could tell that Chef @masashiuk was leading the way in this. Chef was super friendly and was always making sure the dining room was well taken care of from time to time. He even helped to open wine bottles to let guest try some unique liquids from heaven! 🤣🤣🤣 What a rare sight of chef doing that!
Just to quantify; I am not trying to be a foodie with this post but more to share my joy of from visiting The Potager during our perfect weekend in KL! Maybe my judgement was bias because we were in such great mood from the Sammi Concert 😅😅 but nevertheless, it was a superb lunch. I dare say my favourite fine-dining experience in Malaysia so far!
I will be back for sure!
Thank you Team Potager!
Join us on Thursday, April 30th, from 8pm–12am, as we welcome a collaboration with @nutmegandclove , joined by Colin Chia and Sim Sze Wei, ranked among Asia’s Best 50 Bars and the World’s Best 50 Bars.
Since 2014, Nutmeg & Clove has drawn inspiration from Singapore’s rich heritage, reimagining classic cocktails through a distinctly Asian lens. Each creation tells a story, from colonial beginnings to a modern city, where every sip becomes an immersive journey through culture, history, and craft.

RECAP: Nutmeg & Clove × Bar Kinky — Six Handshakes #6
Well… the Singapore 🇸🇬 party is over. And it felt like all of London squeezed into the pink room for it.
@colincyc and @marytzh Back to warmer climates, as expected @nutmegandclove
Lingering hangover @martinmillersgin did its job a little too well.
But… we’re not quite ready to let go of the heat (or the hangover).
Luckily, Kiki’s @kikis.lounge are bringing a little more sun — and something vaguely tropical — from the Isle of Man (don’t ask where they found it).
See you on 13 April, Monday🏝️🕶️

Excellent for date nights, a refreshed cocktail menu paired with yums staples like the oden, potato salad and sando
The Cat is out the Hat 🎩
Legendary Singapore bar Nutmeg & Clove (@nutmegandclove ) touch down in London Town on Sunday for a one night takeover at Bar Kinky. Think Singapore style with a London twist courtesy of Mr Martin Miller’s Gin.
Walk-ins only. See you there. Sunday 6pm
Flip through the pages of @nutmegandclove ’s cocktail menu and you just might recognise some familiar faces! The comic-style menu is inspired by Singlish, its namesake, Singapore’s unofficial national language. With cocktails like “Alamak”, “Bojio”, and “Bo Ta Bo Lampa”, you might just pick up a new term after working your way through the drinks.

CNY might have wrapped up, but the spirit of reunion and celebration still sits comfortably in the bar.
Between the last of the mandarin oranges, the louder meals, and the stories that keep going long after closing time, it’s a reminder that a bar is never just the drinks.
It’s the people who keep it moving, day after day. Another year, and a few new chapters waiting to be poured.
@nutmegandclove , one of Tatler Asia’s Best 100 Bars, recently launched 12 drinks on its new menu titled Singlish. @colincyc hopes to break the stigma around the country’s unofficial national language through an illustrated menu featuring industry faces from the bar scene.
