As a Berklee alumni I graduated in this exact same space almost 20yrs ago and it is a pleasure to complete the circle. The recap video of the Coldplay Singers Showcase is now out on @berkleecollege YouTube Channel! This is my favorite production @berkleebpc so far. Not only we have over 100 talented Berklee musicians and dancers from @bostonconservatory performed on stage, the staff and faculty team also did a beautiful work on the musical arrangements, set design, lighting design, LED wall content design, LED wrist bands and also projecting interactive visuals by our guest performer @mariafinkelmeier We captured and live-streamed the concerts with 12 cameras this time and also provided 3 switchable camera feeds for the IMAG on the LED walls. Congratulations to @meitalwald_music for the release of her first single āHayu Leiloā (There Were Nights) from her upcoming EP āKisufimā. I love that the whole band recorded live in the same room, it captures the incredible synergy between the musicians and the beautiful natural sound of the space. @bunkerstudio flexibility made this kind of session possible, and big shoutout to audio engineer @_alexconroy_ for capturing and mixing it so beautifully. Took 20hrs upgrading my livestream rig! With the Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 2ME I can now take 20 camera inputs and have 12 aux outputs! I also left a bunch of SDI/HDMI converters in it so it is versatile and patchable with the IO in the back panel. #livestream #videoproduction
A walkthrough for a live recording video shoot at @powerstationatberkleenyc studio A engineered by @ootermindstudiopics The approach Alex took is to spent time on dialing in a good sound / mix during the recording so it is less to process in post production similar to recording analog tapes where you want to get the perfect sound on the tapes. @canonusa cameras have been my go to cameras for the last 15 years. Great natural skin tone right out of the box, excellent dynamic range, small form factor that fits nicely for studio recording sessions and the fans are quiet enough where I havenāt got yelled by audio engineers when filming acoustic instruments in a small booth with these cameras. Most of my colleagues also use Canon so it is easy to match shooting C-log between the different sensors. This is not a commercial as Iām not endorsed by them š Just a shout out to appreciate the fantastic image coming out from these cameras. #canon #videoproduction
Had a great time filming at the new @silverpromusic studio in Hartsdale NY! They got a nice stage with a lighting grid, capability to record multi channel audio and multi cam videos.
