an insane honor to be trusted with bringing @samiatheband ’s music to the stage in this first run music directing
from collaborating on lights with @aaronhjacobs to programming a fully redundant ableton rig, life has a crazy way of throwing you curveballs and i can think of few gifts sweeter than being able to pour my heart into something i believe in with the people i love. absolute allstar crew and we’ve only finished leg 1
a lot of days learning to appreciate the stillness in chaos, beauty in the mundane, love within grief, solace in uncertainty, and certainly some novelty in the familiar. another year of resolution around the flaming ball and it just gets better
we played Bob Boilen’s final Tiny Desk and I will be processing that for the next 3 to 5 business years. Noah said it best, Samia has made a lot of our childhood dreams come true, but this one goes beyond anything 14 year old me could’ve ever imagined. feeling very grateful today
