Riding with you to infinity my brother â¤ď¸ attaching some words I wrote today, continued in comments
Two years without you today. Most of the time your absence feels abstract, like you went away on a long trip and are coming back when you feel like it . Still feels almost impossible to grasp that Iâll never see you again in this lifetime.
Meeting you at 12 might have changed the trajectory of my life more than anything else. You taught me brotherhood. You taught me adventure and spontaneity. I only realized who I was through meeting you. At your funeral I was shocked to find out how many people you did that for. You were completely devoid of judgement and incapable of gate keeping.
For the longest time I felt like we had a shared language and a brotherhood that transcended the worldly, a shared flow state that generated endless experiences of adventure and laughter and joy and love.
During those years we created a chosen family that made me feel close to invincible, that helped me not just withstand my father dying and the tumult of my family life but thrive and move forward with confidence. You said once to me that we raised each other and we really did. I felt that as long as we had this family id always be good no matter what.
In the past few years before you passed, the brotherhood remained in place but we started to lose our shared language. It led to a strain in our relationship. The night you died you told me it was okay that we had stopped speaking the same language, that you understood. I told you I wasnât judging you and that I loved you and that I just wanted you to be happy. You freed me from the thing that would have weighed on me the most for going unsaid, and I canât thank you enough for that.

New edit and sound design work for @jobtheplay âs move to broadway
Written by @fr1edl1ch
Starring @sydney_lemmon and Peter Friedman
Trailer and vignettes directed by the boy @photokohli
Itâs been special to witness the journey of this play and glad to be a small part of it
Hereâs the trailer and then my three favorite vignettes we cut, even in these very small moments we put together Sydney and Peterâs presence and chemistry as actors is really palpable, really enjoyed cutting these, some of my favorite editing work
Go see Job on Broadway till 10/27!!
@latrelljames@quadrygives - Snakes in the Pool out now!
Iâve really been leaning away from narrative in my music video work but Latrell and Quadryâs verses really played like competing monologues in a scene and I had a great time building a story around that. Really happy with the imagery in this one.
