Extremely honoured that I got the opportunity to arrange for the one and only @peterbeets.jazz and his @new_jazz_orchestra !!! For their Bach to Blues concerts I arranged Lament der Freude by J.S. Bach for a Jazz setting.Conducted by my former teacher and mentor @robhorsting !

I would like to invite you all to join me for my final Master's exam on the 30th of June from 21:30-22:30 at @theaterbakkerij in Gouda (not at CvA!) I have to pleasure to perform with the wonderful West Coast Bigband, conducted by @nilsvanhaften and we will play my arrangements and compositions, including a feature song with the great @natashasulym on voice Looking very much forward and hope to see you there!

It was a huge honour and privilege to write an arrangement of "Kche Baralla" by amazing singer @bitsofnaaz for the one-of-a-kind @metropoleorkest , conducted by the great @samgalemusic !!! This is literally a dream come true! Special thanks to @samgalemusic , @jochenneuffer and my teacher Rob Horsting for mentoring and to @fididarius for making it all happen!

It’s 2025, the Christmas fat is finally starting to burn off and we reckon there could be no better moment to introduce the members of this working party (quite literally!) we call The Royal Croquettes!@simongelsdorf is one of the founding fathers of this group and wears multiple hats in one go. Left hand holds the rhythm section! Right hand writes the arrangement! Left foot cues in horns! We are beyond lucky to have him lead right from the middle! Hey everyone! Will we see you for one of our EP release concerts in the start of April?! ️First single out 5th April! ️Full Ep out on 19th of April!In my last year at @koninklijkconservatorium in Den Haag I (Thor) formed this trio with @simongelsdorf and @bjorgblondal with the goal to make new impressionistic versions of songs from our home countries (). That means that our repertoire includes a lot of songs close to our heart and culture coloured by modern jazz influences, but we also play a few of our own songs in the repertoire Concerts dates are• 4th April, @studenterhusodense Odense 20:00• 5th April, @cafegaya Aarhus 17:00• 6th April, @moellegadesboghandel Copenhagen 20:00I am incredibly thankful for playing with this group and playing this music. We hope to see you soon for the concerts!
