As a Kurdish woman, to be climbing a mountain for this album artwork was one of the most symbolic things I've ever done. This record is for the storytellers without pens, the musicians who grew up without instruments, artists who worry they're too late, who had to suffer before they could create. It is, at last, for everyone who's felt like they did not belong, but chose to show up anyway.
This is a record about belonging, late beginnings and choosing yourself anyway. Inspired by the philosophy: the sky knows I exist, and therefore I am

Some of my upcoming shows, both in the Netherlands and abroad, will be moved to later this year due to unforeseen circumstances. The Turkey dates will be rescheduled, I’ll share new dates with you soon ❤️

It was the most magical show of my life.... During one of my songs, someone in the crowd started singing along in opera. I handed her the mic, and she turned out to be an opera singer from Italy. What a special, whimsical thing to happen? Safe to say it was the type of concert where everyone, on and off stage, blossomed 🤍

I Get Tired So Fast, Babe 🥀
I wrote this song for those who struggle with chronic illness, be it physical or mental. The longing for a big life whilst being held back by your own body. When it is not a matter of trying, but physically impossible. Those who mourn that they get tired so fast, but play outside regardless of the fun they can't 'afford'. Sometimes I will go in debt for this beautiful, but temporary feeling.
With @nekosingsasong on guitar & @willemhethart on keys. Made this song with @rasperjas , it was a magical moment, I did not get tired that day.
