Wauw! Het is zo indrukwekkend om te horen hoe de muziek van Bokkenrijders van het papier tot leven komt. Philzuid speelde de muziek in op band en Eva Custers was erbij. Zij ging in gesprek met componist Ad van Dijk, dirigent Otto Tausk, muzikaal leider Rob Mennen en violiste Christiene.

Rachmaninoff was captivated by a black and white print of Arnold Böcklin’s Isle of the Dead. The stark, colorless image inspired a masterpiece where every bar marks another stroke of the oar, pulling the listener toward the underworld.

De nieuw geschreven muziek van Ad van Dijk voor Bokkenrijders is filmisch en groots. Dat vraagt om het geweldige orkest van Philzuid! Onder leiding van Otto Tausk speelt het orkest de muziek in op band. De arrangementen zijn van Marco Braam en Rob Mennen heeft de muzikale leiding in handen.
