Weeks posts
This was 𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝! From March 20th till April 26th, Komplot was very pleased to present the duo exhibition by Natalija Gucheva and Julia Tröscher. A week after its closing, it feels like a lovely moment to look back and thank everyone who made it possible, as well as all those who visited and engaged with the project. A heartfelt thank you to the artists, Natalija and Julia, for embracing the project and developing such thoughtful and intuitive works, both individually and collaboratively. Warm thanks to assistant curator Charlotte Frenay and head of production PC Malet, without whom the project would not have been possible. Special thanks to Emma Burel for creating the remarkable graphic elements accompanying the exhibition, including the 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 publication. And sincere thanks to all collaborators and supporters of this exhibition: Aidan Abnet, Rachel Alvarez, Adam Baillon, Theo Bonne, Charlotte Daniëlse, Erifili Doukeli, Lorella Granvillano, Thibaud Leplat, Paul Murgat, Ines Amaia Naaraat, Johan Poezevara, Anton Ripon, Pauline Salinas Segura, Benjamin Schoones, Ivy Slater, Jan Staiger, Samuele Sartori, Regine Tröscher, Pieter Vandenhoudt, Sofie Anny Nicea Velghe, Oriana Mangala Ikomo Wanga @natalija.gucheva @juliatr.o.scher @chafrenay @shift_entity @gilbard.e.s @emmaburel @camille_vm @aiden.abnet @rachel.alv @thbonne @charlotte_danielse @lorella_granvillano @thibaud_leplat @johanpoezevara @antonwvripon @pauline_salinas_segura @bnjmnsch @janstaiger @reg.ine2612 @p.vandenhoudt @sofie.anniy.nicea @iambadgalriri__ 𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 Natalija Gucheva and Julia Tröscher Curated by Camille Van Meenen Assistant Curator Charlotte Frenay Scenography and production by PC Malet Co-produced with Gilbard Graphic Design by Emma Burel Part of the @artbrussels OFF Programme 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 20.03-26.04.2026 📍Komplot, Place du Conseil 4 Raadsplein, 1070 Anderlecht Thur. - Sat. | 14:00 - 18:00 or by appointment This exhibition is generously supported by FWB, VGC, Commune d’Anderlecht and Gilbard. The exhibition scenography for 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 was co-produced with the support and expertise of Gilbard. A big thank you goes out to Anton Ripon, Lorella Granvillano, Adam Baillon and Paul Murgat for their precious contribution. PC Malet, in charge of the technical production at Komplot, worked closely with them to make the exhibition scenography possible. Following a discussion with the two artists, an overall scenography was designed to accommodate the number of screens. At the end of the exhibition, and in keeping with Gilbard’s mission of reuse, the wood will return to their storage facilities for future projects. 𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 Natalija Gucheva and Julia Tröscher Curated by Camille Van Meenen Assistant curator Charlotte Frenay Scenography and production by PC Malet Co-conception and co-production with Gilbard Exhibition 20.03-26.04.2026 Komplot, Place du Conseil 4 Raadsplein, 1070 Anderlecht Thu-Fri-Sat | 14:00-18:00 or by appointment Photos by Komplot’s team and Jan Staiger @janstaiger @gilbard.e.s @shift_entity @antonwvripon @lorella_granvillano @adam_bavon @polmerga @natalija.gucheva @juliatr.o.scher @camille_vm @chafrenay

🌀Upcoming Exhibition🌀 Komplot Brussels is proud to present 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩, a duo exhibition with Ghent-based artist Natalija Gucheva and Antwerp-based artist Julia Tröscher, opening on March 19th at 18:00. 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 explores the porous boundaries between our inner and outer ontology, looking at modes of imaging and imagining as active tools for accessing deeper parts of our emotional landscape. Through their video and installation practices, Gucheva and Tröscher engage in a meditative methodology, bringing about a potentially healing process by tapping into suppressed emotions and memories. Taking the intimate and the personal as a starting point, the exhibition simultaneously questions how internal messages speak to a wider collective context. Presenting an immersive installation with video and sound elements at its core, the artists create a space for 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 that invites the audience to relate to their work. How can the personal and universal come together? What can sensibility tell us? 𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 Natalija Gucheva and Julia Tröscher Curated by Camille Van Meenen Assistant Curator Charlotte Frenay Scenography and production by PC Malet Co-produced with Gilbard Graphic Design by Emma Burel Part of the @artbrussels OFF Programme 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 Thursday 19.03.2026 | 18:00 - 22:00 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 20.03-26.04.2026 📍Komplot, Place du Conseil 4 Raadsplein, 1070 Anderlecht Thur. - Sat. | 14:00 - 18:00 or by appointment This exhibition is generously supported by FWB, VGC, Commune d’Anderlecht and Gilbard. @natalija.gucheva @juliatr.o.scher @camille_vm @chafrenay @shift_entity @emmaburel @gilbard.e.s

Shift Entity vs Alicja Kwade, a conversation on shifting realities. Shift Entity, the united practice of Axelle Devaux and PC Malet, moves across writing, installation, fiction and sensory experience. Rooted in shared research and extended collaborative networks, their work constructs speculative spaces that feel both familiar and slightly out of joint. After visiting Alicja Kwade’s Dusty Die at M Leuven together, we spoke about some topics both this exhibition and Shift Entity’s work tackle: beginnings, layered realities, memory, collaboration and the quiet ways perception can shift. Alicja Kwade - Dusty Die runs at M Leuven until 22.02.2026. The exhibition is free for Different Class members.
