- Sheffield in September.
We may not be holding a Sheffield Showcase event in 2025, but there is still a lot going on in our city to be excited about this month...
The inaugural Lick of Paint Festival (
@lickofpaintfest ) celebrates all things street art; with local, national and international artists and activity taking place across the city.
Featuring live graffiti battles, mural workshops, artist talks, installations and more.
Saturday Sept 6th > Sunday Sept 7th
.
Alpaca Festival (
@alpacapatterns ) - new to Sheffield's culture calendar - is the festival of algorithmic patterns in the creative arts.
Featuring talks, workshops, live-coded visuals, concerts and a club night/algorave, showcasing artists exploring beyond our imaginations through pattern-making.
Friday Sept 12th > Sunday Sept 14th
.
Castlegate Festival (
@castlegatefestival ) returns with a packed line-up of artists & DJs for the annual Exchange Street party.
With live music, a skate jam, family-friendly activities, food and drinks all day and into the night, there really is something for everyone... and, it's free!
Events and activities are spread across 6 venues, with an exceptional lineup of DJs into the early hours (artwork by
@mila_kult ).
Saturday September 20th
.
And as always, check out the
@ourfaveplaces website for listings of culture activity taking place across the city.
