Kicked off the year in March with my biggest mural to date 🙌
Massive shoutout to @artworkssy for bringing me in on this one for @bassetlawdc , and to the incredibly talented @saraprinslooart for the support along the way.
This beast comes in at 28m wide × 5m tall… and we’ve got the other side of the road still to tackle later this year at the same scale 😅
Definitely a big jump from my usual projects — plenty of challenges, loads of problem-solving, and a lot learned in the process. Painting under the A1 bridge has been no joke either… the lighting makes it so hard to capture properly.
So — if there are any photographers/videographers who fancy heading over to Tuxford (north Nottinghamshire) to grab some proper shots (drone, wide angle, the works), I’d happily pay. Would love to do this piece the justice it deserves.

Leaning more into looser, more expressive techniques with this one — pushing things, trusting the process, and letting the work breathe a bit more. Excited to keep evolving in that direction.

Our gardening volunteers have been busy at Wortley Hall with a new project supported by @veoliauk exploring environmental sustainability. Seed to Canvas involves growing flowers we'll turn into natural pigments for screen-printing and painting onto canvas.
