The final co-built world, titled ‘Sheffield of Stories’, will be presented as the centrepiece of Sheffield DocFest’s FREE Alternative Realities Exhibition (10-15 June), hosted at Yorkshire Artspace. The exhibition will explore the creative possibilities of gaming worlds.

@sheffdocfest 's Storytelling in Gaming: Challenge Lab - Applications Now Open!
As part of our friends @sheffdocfest 's Alternate Realities programme this year, they’re looking for five createch teams to join a three-day lab residency developing playable prototypes of narrative-driven interactive gaming experiences - in partnership with @sheffhallamuni and supported by @britishcouncil - Arts.
The lab runs 11 - 13 June in Sheffield, culminating in a presentation to industry attendees at the Alternative Realities Summit.
They're looking for teams (of up to 5 people) with mixed skills across games development, motion graphics, interactive media and XR - especially early-career creatives and those from underrepresented countries and the global south.
Applications close 29 April at 10am
