A short film that examines the experience of refuge through the story of Omar, a young Ethiopian refugee living in Malta. The film focuses on the everyday lives of refugees and explores how migration shapes human relationships, a sense of belonging, and the formation of identity within a new context.
In-Between relies on individual voices to reflect a shared experience. Through a blend of image, performance, and poetry, the film offers a restrained and contemplative view of living between two places, where migration is presented as a prolonged process of adaptation and rebuilding rather than a singular event.
