These fellas here. We have been a team since 2023. Through good and bad. Tears and a TON of laughter. Closing Come From Away last night at @papermillplayhouse was an emotional one. A whirlwind of 1.5 years of shared life and work, all coming to a close. You blink and then it’s over. Watching the show last night was a celebration of 3 different iterations of our shows, 3 beautiful theater companies, 48 brilliant actors, countless designers and crew, hundreds of workshopped ideas, a lot of inside jokes, 4 cities, god knows how many Zoom calls, and thousands of audience members. This show is a special one and true collaboration on all fronts (a testimony to the one and only @richardjhinds and the spaces he cultivates.) That’s a wrap! We have been working on this show for over a year now and I couldn’t have asked for two more amazing collaborators. They are both brilliant creators and they make me strive to be better at my job. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve gone to Disneyland. But most importantly, we’ve been fortunate enough to share this incredible piece of theatre with thousands of people.
