We are beyond excited to welcome Elyn Collier to EMPOWER! Currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Elyn brings a wealth of experience as a director, choreographer, educator, and creative leader in the musical theatre world.
Her work includes Come From Away, Tootsie, Newsies, In The Heights, ELF The Musical 1st National Tour, and more. With a passion for storytelling through movement and dynamic musicality, Elyn brings artistry, intention, and Broadway-level training to every class she teaches!

These fellas here. We have been a team since 2023. Through good and bad. Tears and a TON of laughter. Closing Come From Away last night at @papermillplayhouse was an emotional one. A whirlwind of 1.5 years of shared life and work, all coming to a close. You blink and then it’s over.
Watching the show last night was a celebration of 3 different iterations of our shows, 3 beautiful theater companies, 48 brilliant actors, countless designers and crew, hundreds of workshopped ideas, a lot of inside jokes, 4 cities, god knows how many Zoom calls, and thousands of audience members. This show is a special one and true collaboration on all fronts (a testimony to the one and only @richardjhinds and the spaces he cultivates.)
How blessed we have been. 🤍 God is so good.

That’s a wrap!
We have been working on this show for over a year now and I couldn’t have asked for two more amazing collaborators. They are both brilliant creators and they make me strive to be better at my job. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve gone to Disneyland. But most importantly, we’ve been fortunate enough to share this incredible piece of theatre with thousands of people. Thank you Elyn and Sam.

A late night dance party was had at @stepsonbroadway . I can’t wait for this to be a weekly occurrence starting Thursday Feb 12 230-4PM! Warm up, technique across the floor, and storytelling through musicality and movement. I can’t wait to hit the dance floor again soon!

Dreams do come true 🤍 sometimes you get lost in the day to day and forget that what you journaled about as a kid is coming to life.
