Central to the mural are a Florida panther, a great horned owl, an American alligator, a roseate spoonbill, a small group of pied-billed grebe, a river otter, a monarch butterfly, a Southern Live Oak, and a bald cypress, surrounded by vibrant shapes & patterns inspired by the state’s diverse flora and fauna.  The composition symbolizes survival, growth, and the lasting impact of resilience, echoing through time to honor the cultural and natural heritage of the region. Our first collaboration with @icamiami Art + Research Center now has its first official exhibition. After weeks of work, Cohort 20 is ready to present Liminal Field, featuring the work of 11 artists from around the world. The exhibition opens alongside Harmony Korine: Perfect Nonsense at ICA Miami. The opening will take place both online and offline, allowing audiences in Miami and beyond to participate. Liminal Field explores what it means to move through technology rather than simply use it. Bringing together immersive, digital, and virtual environments, from metaverse confessions to game-like worlds, the exhibition traces fragile connections between the visible and the hidden, the human and the non-human.Is it possible to listen for signals within these environments, to attune to subtle tensions between beauty and fragility, sensation and structure? Moving through layered digital terrains where memory, media, and deep time overlap, Liminal Field considers what kinds of relationships can take root within these spaces of passage. The in-progress Lakeland Mural “Echoes of Resilience” by @samaraashstudio , @lkldced , & @lakelandgov captures the spirit of the Florida Panther: strong, determined, and looking toward a connected future🌿🐾 As we celebrate Florida Panther Awareness Month this March, we’re reminded of the resilience these big cats embody and the importance of protecting their habitat. By protecting the Florida Wildlife Corridor not only are we protecting key Panther habitat, but we are protecting ecological lifelines for every native species. This gorgeous mural located in Downtown Lakeland at the @rpfundingcenter is wrapping up soon so stay tuned for an official mural unveiling!
