Beginning June 1, I’ll be leading a monthly writing workshop designed to help you reconnect with your authentic voice through beautiful literature, guided discussion, and intuitive writing prompts.
This is for writers, journalers, artists, thinkers, and anyone craving a creative space to listen inward, deepen their craft, improve thinking and write honestly.

There is something magic that happens when a person gives me their name, three words, and a few minutes.
At events, I sit with my typewriter and write custom poems for guests on the spot — small keepsakes, made in real time, from whatever they bring me.
It’s one of my favorite forms of Heart-Centered Writing: intimate, immediate, a little mysterious.

We read “Sleep” by Ellen Bryant Voigt, drank wine, talked craft, and wrote.
This monthly series is about approaching writing through the art of listening: engaging with exquisite pieces of writing, learning from the masters, and practicing on the page ourselves.
It’s a space to deepen your creativity in a dreamy, intimate environment.

I’ve never given a writing workshop, and ended up learning so much about myself. That’s what I get for picking “joy” as the topic: a concept seemingly simple, and yet, as we came to discuss tonight, inseparable from sorrow and grief.
I am so grateful for everyone who came out tonight, for showing up so thoughtfully.

I’m starting a residency at the Shelborne this week—offering monthly typewriter poetry in their gorgeous Little Torch lounge, February through May. Stop by for a custom poem, 6–8pm.
And on Feb 11, I’m hosting a special Self-Love Letters writing salon as their Valentine’s activation. We’ll spend an evening in conversation with writers like Frank O’ Hara, Ocean Vuong, and others who have asked the question, “What would it take to love myself?”

We’ll begin with a guided introduction to Lawrence Lek: NOX Pavilion, then you’ll have time to move through the exhibition at your own pace—noticing what pulls you in, what surprises you, what makes you pause.
I’ll share a few curated readings related to the themes of AI, consciousness, sentience, and modernity before we move into freewriting—drawing from the artwork, the literature, and our own lives.
