Show 10! Hard to believe this is my sixth one of these with @emma.lawes and @mayaroset at @co________.seattle .
Doing ten of anything is huge, but to also grow something and build a community around it at the same time is even harder and it’s been a privilege to be a part of that.
To celebrate this and keep it fresh and because IG changed the way images look on the profile (thanks IG ☹️) I decided to free the number from the edges of the frame, which in a way made the number feel even larger. It also free’d me up to have a little more fun with the artist posters and merge the world of these metallic monolithic numbers with the rest of the identity.
As always I’m so thankful to CO– for their trust and giving me permission to play around, and looking forward to the next one!
Babe Fest 2 the return of the girl powered music festival!
Finally getting around to posting about this massive event that I was fortunate to be a part of. I had so much fun working on the visuals and bringing this vision to life. Shout out to @waxwitch for inviting me to be a part of such a great event. Looking forward to the next one 😊
Closing out another big year for @co________.seattle with Show 8. Like always, it’s an honor to be a part of this project and be trusted by @emma.lawes and @mayaroset to build and shape the CO– visual world. It was also fun to release some new merch!
New one for @babe.night Club Edition at @massive_club !
Been having a blast working with @waxwitch to create a new brand for Babe Night and help expand the Babe Night Universe ™️ over the past few months and this is the first real expression of that project. More to come soon 👀
New one for @co________.seattle ! Congrats on selling at the show and good luck tonight! As always @emma.lawes and @mayaroset are the best to work with and I’m so excited to see what CO has in store.
As usual I had some fun playing with the grid view of all the posts. This time I had the gradient continuing from post to post 😊
Recently @anacollaborations reached out with the task of creating some promotional material for their new immersive dance-theater performance titled Dragonslayer.
Dragonslayer re-imagines the Polish legend of the Wawel Dragon—a monstrous creature that terrorizes a kingdom— in the year 2048. Audiences will journey through this near- future retelling that honors the original tale while chasing a new ending. The dragon becomes a metaphor for our modern fears, ranging from mutated pathogens to nuclear annihilation. Dragonslayer gives audiences an immersive dance-theater experience, with agency to choose which aspects of the tale they wish to better understand and at times participate in.
Working with the Dragonslayer team was a treat because like many artists they care deeply about their craft and have created a rich and expansive world that was fun to play around in. Immediately we knew the major problem to solve was communicating the interactive nature of the performance and our solution was to create marketing that blurred the lines between the real world and the world of the show. To do this we wheatpasted posters that could be mistaken for real posters; a missing person poster and a protest poster. The missing person poster was representative of the government in the show so I created a fictional crest for that government based on the coat of arms of Krakow which is where the show is set. Then I used that coat of arms along with the checkered border to make the poster look official and bureaucratic. Next, for the protest poster I borrowed from punk and diy aesthetics to make something punchy that represents the opposing forces in the show exposing the governments true intentions. Finally we decided to create a third purely informational poster with the shows tagline “DON’T HESITATE” that would serve to let people know that this is in fact a work of fiction and that if they would like to know more they simply have to scan the QR code at the bottom of the poster.
For the show poster I combined the logotype and checkered border along with manipulating some promotional photos they had shot to create a backdrop that is ominous and mysterious.
Here is the full series for Show 6 for @co________.seattle !!! A great time as always working with @emma.lawes and @mayaroset . Unfortunately @danceundercurrent had to drop out of the show but their flyer came out so well so I wanted to share anyway 😊. The show is tonight Seattle so get your tickets and Go See Dance ™️!
This summer @kavu approached me to design a tee for their upcoming employee retreat in Japan. This project was an insane venn diagram of my interests so of course I said yes and got to work. Not long after I accepted the project I just so happened to be camping near Mount Baker on a trip home to Seattle. I decided to collect sticks from the campsite and play around with them to make frames and type on my sketchbook which I then photographed with my phone. When I got home I took these photos into photoshop and played around with them mixing in photos from the campsite where the retreat was planned to take place. Unfortunately, we decided to go short sleeve as opposed to long sleeve so my stick letters got cut but still love how the whole thing turned out nevertheless!
Concept 009: Thom Browne is the 9th entry into the New Concepts @ Nordstrom shop. For Concept 009 designer Thom Browne created an exclusive capsule range for Nordstrom, offering a selection of locker room-ready clothing, footwear, accessories, and sporting goods.
As the designer on this project, my role was first to create a lockup that integrated the Thom Browne logo with the New Concepts lockup that could be used across the company and press. Then I created the landing page and digital campaign as well as created all out-of-home placements which included two rounds of wild postings, one billboard in Soho in Manhattan, and a New York Times ad. I also had the opportunity to design a custom branded padlock for a gift with purchase for customers in store. Finally, I worked with the art director to create a fake Thom Browne rowing video game animation used in the promo videos.

Flashback to a simpler time pre pandemic when I would spin ambient music and field recordings at my favorite cafe (probably ever!?) @prufcafebar . I can’t remember how many sets I did (not a ton because the pandemic cut that short unfortunately) but I made three flyers. I called it No phone Zone and encouraged people to leave their phones at home or turn them off before entering the cafe.
There was a little skylight in the DJ booth and their coffee was always amazing. Best way to spend a Sunday morning if you ask me. I am so thankful for that space and especially Bruce and Suzanne for creating such a special place to hang, meet new friends, see art and music, and have the best endless conversations about all of the above.
@seattledepartmentofdesign was approached in 2021 by @nordstrom to have our parks collection stocked in the Downtown Seattle flagship store and the online store. We were then asked again in 2022 to create an original parks collection exclusively for Nordstrom to celebrate spring. For this collection we developed the theme of “Parks are for everybody” to highlight the accessibility and inclusivity of Seattle Parks. Not only did we do our first frisbee and create a new original graphic but we also worked with @mistymtnmfg in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle to create a custom tote blank making the tote bag our first 100% made in Seattle product.
Seeing SDoD at Nordys was definitely a dream come true and something that @nate.hoe and I never even thought was possible. Seeing a product I designed and we developed not only on the site but also styled and shot in that particularly glossy ecom way that Nordstrom does was very surreal and something I’ll never forget. We of course celebrated the occasion with a meal at the Nordstrom Grill in the basement of the store (the burger is actually pretty good btw).
