Frances is the daughter of my dear friends, Zoe (@manville ) & John (@portugaltheman ). She is battling a super rare neurological degenerative disease called DHDDS. It is incredibly expensive and our US healthcare system doesn’t test nor treat such rare genetic diseases of this magnitude. The lack of testing is a primary reason diseases like this are considered rare.
February is rare disease month, aimed at highlighting the experiences and challenges families navigating rare diseases face, while providing the community an opportunity to support the cause.

One Year In…
… on Feb 1st of 2024, I ventured back into freelance as a Photographer/Director after several valuable years working as a Sr. Photo Art Director/Video Director at Nordstrom.
2024 consisted of several campaigns, a mix of cover art + promo images + music videos for three music artists, sixteen editorial shoots for an upcoming biannual magazine launching next month, my first gallery show, a handful of test, ecomm & personal shoots, and I set up a mobile film lab to develop film anywhere with access to running water 💦
