I (Nate, owner of Windthrow) got invited to a fun trip with buds @fieldmag and @mountainhardwear where we hit the 17 mile Nason Ridge Trail in some new light and fast stuff "The Nut" is working on.
We were supposed to be huffing and puffing but we (@jakekuzyk@jennysayyes and myself) mostly made funny faces and talked about the frivolous things that make life interesting. I suppose that's what hiking is all about 🤔
Super 8 from @sarahattar and photos from @alexguiry and assorted cell phones

Windthrow recently collaborated with @crescentdownworks who've been making down jackets in Seattle since the mid-70s. Their factory is a rare remnant of this city's once-vibrant outdoor apparel manufacturing space. The people who sew there have worked for many other legendary names, and now they've made these jackets and totes for us.
It was really special to get to see products like these get made from start to finish. We used a wacky plaid that felt very 00s snowboarding, which led us to make a wacky patch, too. We took pics of our bud @rudy.jpeg in his underwear in the snow. Well, technically my underwear. Everything came together just right.
I've always wanted to own a Crescent puffer, but a Windthrow one is even better 🌙
