This December, we’re heading to Dallas Marathon Weekend and bringing the family with us. December 11-13.
5K. 10K. Half. Full. Ultra. Relay.
This one really is a race for every pace.
2026 has been all about new experiences, new cities, and doing things together. And there’s something different about traveling with people who are on the same wavelength as you. Communities that travel together stay together.
We’ve always said running is bigger than the race itself.
It’s the flights. The carb loads. The post-race stories. The random gas station stops. The cheering. The people you end up next to for an entire weekend that somehow become lifelong friends.
So yeah… we’re ending the year with a bang in Dallas.

What started as a few Herd members heading to NYC for Bandit Grand Prix somehow turned into almost 40 people making the trip. One of the biggest crews in the race.
So we figured… let’s make it bigger than the race itself.
CORRIENDO ENTRE AMIGOS.
Inspired by Entre Amigos, the community gatherings created by @detailsmatterco in NYC, Corriendo Entre Amigos brings that same spirit of connection into the running world alongside @run.herd .
A run built around community, culture, and shared miles. No egos. No pressure. Just people from different crews and different cities coming together through movement.
Starting and ending at @colmadocoffee , one of our favorite gathering spots in NYC focused on culture and bringing communities together.
Whether you’re racing, recovering, walking, or just looking to meet good people, pull up.

This wasn’t just a relay race to us. It was proof of what can happen when people fully buy into something bigger than themselves.
The Speed Project stripped everything down. Sleep. Comfort. Ego. Plans. What was left was trust, movement, problem solving, and a team willing to suffer for each other.
Somewhere between LA and Vegas, it stopped feeling like a race and started feeling like a reflection of what we’re trying to build back home in Miami.
Not individuals. Not influencers. A real team.

What a morning.
The conditions were brutal. Heat punching everybody in the face before most people even finished breakfast. But somehow, that almost made the energy better.
People showed up today for something bigger than themselves.
Different run crews. Different backgrounds. Runners, wheelchair athletes, families, friends. Everybody on the same course moving for the same reason.
That’s what this is really about. It’s about people willing to go the extra mile for other people.
Super proud of the Herd today too:
🥇 Kilgore — 1st overall — 31.1 KM
🥉 Juanpy — 3rd overall — 28.22 KM
4️⃣ Trey — 4th overall — 24.45 KM
But bigger than any placement was looking around and seeing our extended family all out there together.
Thank you to @redbullusa and @wflworldrun for putting this together and continuing to create something that actually means something.
And thank you to our very own @ivesmatik for telling such a wonderful story 🫂

Tomorrow morning means a lot to us.
For the first time, The Herd is officially showing up to Wings For Life with our own team in collaboration with @pushonfoundation@wayforwardfoundation@benkunzle has been part of our family since day one, and being around adaptive athletes has always been a reminder that running is bigger than pace, splits, or competition. It’s freedom. It’s community. It’s possibility.
@wflworldrun isn’t just another race. 100% of entry fees go toward spinal cord injury research, and every person out there tomorrow is pushing that mission forward together.

two years in and it still blows our minds that people keep showing up.
runs like this are a reminder of why we started The Herd in the first place. not to build the biggest run club. not to build the coolest one. but to build a place where people feel welcomed no matter where they’re starting from or where they’re trying to go.
and alongside that, to help put Miami’s running scene on the map. to show people outside of this city that something real is being built here.
this morning was a reflection of that.

@tobedetermined.tc , @bearlyrunners , @morningmilesrunclub , @rungables@myolympiccoach , shoot even homies from Ocala, @mimocalarunclub all showing up to move. it’s never really been about what run club you’re a part of. it’s about getting around people who are on the same trajectory as you and putting in the work together.
then you add a brand like @cadence into the mix, went out of their way to stop in, run with us, and spend time with the community in person and feel that, it’s means a lot.
this is what we care about. good people. shared miles. building something bigger than ourselves.

We spend so much of our lives working, chasing, planning… always thinking there’s more time.
But experiences like this? They don’t come around often.
A running journey deep in the northern mountains of Oaxaca, where centuries-old trails and pre-Hispanic roads guide us through misty forests, remote villages, and landscapes that feel untouched.
This is more than just miles on the trail.
It’s sharing authentic Oaxacan meals.
Participating in a traditional temazcal ceremony.
Learning from local artisans who have carried these traditions for generations.
Every step connects you deeper. To the land, the culture, and the people around you.
Over four days, we step away from routine and into something new. A small group, moving together, experiencing a side of Mexico most people will never get to see.
This is one of those things you look back on and say… I’m glad I did that.

“When I first got asked to be a part of this journey, it all seemed a bit surreal to me.
Having dreamed of one day being able to either run or document the speed project, l knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. What began as a group of strangers to me, quickly became a family in what felt like weeks, but was only a few days. The shared laughs, memories, pains, and struggles were what really brought all of us together to take on this grueling challenge that is the speed project.
Although my main role wasn’t what I’d typically be doing in something like this, I felt the need to bring my own perspective to it and capture the moments I felt were special. These photographs were captured on 35mm film, a medium of photography I’ve been passionate about for years now. They capture a morning that I know sits in all of our memories for the rest of time.
Thanks again to the whole team for making this experience so memorable and one I’ll have with me forever.
