Introducing LAB: The Wheelchair Loaner Program
We’re excited to announce the launch of LAB (Loaner Access Bridge) — a new program designed to support individuals living with paralysis by providing temporary access to power wheelchairs when they need it most.
Power wheelchairs can be expensive and hard to access quickly. LAB bridges the gap by offering 45-day wheelchair loans to eligible residents in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Monroe County.
Whether someone is waiting for permanent equipment, recovering from a procedure, or facing unexpected challenges, LAB helps ensure individuals can:
•Maintain independence
•Get to medical appointments
•Stay engaged in their community
•Reduce stress on caregivers and loved ones
LAB is about freedom, dignity, and access—right when it’s needed most.
