TSP.
Crazy to think this was just last Friday at 4am.
Standing on the pier, somewhere between calm and chaos, about to step into something I’ve been dreaming about for years.
And it lived up to everything I thought it would be and more. 340 miles of grit, chaos, and something I still don’t fully have words for.
They talk about it in the safety meeting, the magic that happens out there.
And it’s real.
It’s something about the long miles.
The fatigue.
The sprints in the middle of the night.
Running on no sleep, barely fueled, just figuring it out as you go.
It’s drawing energy from your crew as the night turned into day and day into night.
And the legs got shorter but faster, sprinting towards Vegas.
I love the concept of No Spectators.
It’s not just about no crowds.
It’s about all of us being in it. Together.
Nobody on the sidelines. Nobody getting carried. Nobody left behind.
You show up for yourself, but more importantly, you show up for each other.
And that’s something I’ll carry way beyond this race.
Couldn’t be more proud of my team
@run.herd
The energy, the spirit, the way we showed up for one another through every mile.
Trey and Quinn, thank you for holding it all down and making sure we were ready for this.
Kevin, thank you for helping us tell this story the right way with our merch and while the team was on ground working
Andre, DP, and Ethan, thank you for tagging along in the back of the truck for hours on end and capturing our story beautifully through your lens.
Lastly thank you
@hoka for turning a dream into something real. For me, for The Herd, for all of us.
