MPs, industry experts, campaigners and UV Safety Coalition members gathered in Parliament for the launch of the APPG’s UV Safety Report, A Preventable Crisis: A Case for A National UV Strategy, following a year‑long, cross‑party inquiry led by @carolynharrismp Chair of the APPG for Beauty, Hair & Wellbeing. With thoughtful contributions from Shane McCormick, @melanomauk_official Ambassador and @jessicazwebster , Campaign Director for Axe the SPF Tax, who shared their personal experiences of skin cancer, the event highlighted the urgent need for collaborative action by government and industry on consumer education, regulation and public awareness on UV safety. Yesterday we were excited to attend the launch of the UV Safety Report, published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for @beautyhairwelling_appg .⁠ ⁠ With the support of @thebritishbeautycouncil , the report, titled A Preventable Crisis: The Case for a National UV Safety Strategy, follows a year-long inquiry into UV safety and highlights the urgent need for a coordinated national approach to tackling the risks of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.⁠ ⁠ With melanoma cases projected to increase by 9% by 2038, according to @cr_uk , the APPG is calling for a radical shift in how the Government and public perceive UV protection.⁠ ⁠ @lesleyiblair MBE, CEO, met with industry leaders and MPs to discuss these important issues.⁠ ⁠ #BABTAC #uvsafety #skinhealth #beautyindustry #professionalbeauty⁠

Last night Style celebrated the launch of beauty director-at-large @sarahjossel ’s new book, Diary of a Beauty Editor, with a dinner in partnership with @spacenk . Hosted at Mayfair’s hottest new Greek restaurant @mazamayfair , swipe to see guests including @AJOdudu , @LauraJackson and @TrinnyWoodall . To celebrate Vasanta, the Ayurvedic season of spring centred around renewal, rebalancing and restoring natural radiance, @kamaayurveda partnered with our PR team to host a series of intimate experiences in London.   Bringing together a curated group of high-reaching talent and key UK media, the brand hosted an influencer lunch at Harrods, led by newly appointed UK Ambassador @drpyal , followed by an exclusive press dinner at Tamarind Mayfair.   At Somewhere Café, Harrods, guests were immersed in the brand’s Ayurvedic heritage through dosha-inspired drinks and expert-led education, with a focus on the hero Kumkumadi range.   The dinner also previewed Kama Ayurveda’s 2026 innovation across skin, hair and body, reinforcing its position as a leader in Ayurvedic beauty.
