Yesterday we were excited to attend the launch of the UV Safety Report, published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for @beautyhairwelling_appg .⁠ ⁠ With the support of @thebritishbeautycouncil , the report, titled A Preventable Crisis: The Case for a National UV Safety Strategy, follows a year-long inquiry into UV safety and highlights the urgent need for a coordinated national approach to tackling the risks of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.⁠ ⁠ With melanoma cases projected to increase by 9% by 2038, according to @cr_uk , the APPG is calling for a radical shift in how the Government and public perceive UV protection.⁠ ⁠ @lesleyiblair MBE, CEO, met with industry leaders and MPs to discuss these important issues.⁠ ⁠ #BABTAC #uvsafety #skinhealth #beautyindustry #professionalbeauty⁠
