@roxycvisser flew in from Perth to join a team of Her Trails Mavens on the Grampians Peaks Trail: four women, four legs, one 160 km line across the mountains.
At home in WA, Roxy leads our Perth community runs each fortnight, creating a consistent space for women to get on the trails, connect and quietly push their boundaries. In the Grampians, she stepped into that same role in a different way: moving between runner, crew and hype woman as the relay unfolded.
That’s the magic of a team event like
@gpt100miler . A distance that feels impossible solo suddenly becomes something you carry together; from nervous early-morning check-ins, to checkpoint changeovers, to the deep fatigue and big exhale at the end.
We love what
@singletrack_events events make possible: big terrain, big stories, shared between women who understand the juggle of life and training.
If this looks format appealing, we’ll be putting together #HerTrails teams to the
@buffalostampede_au 100 km relay (teams of 4) in March 2026.
If you’re curious about joining us, send an email to
[email protected] and we’ll share the details.
