Nike “Watch Us Win” / Linked up with @janssenpowers@farmleague to craft films for the home team. The process behind making these spots was really rewarding.
We tried to stay away from the norm, so a more free form approach worked well: between optical (in camera) choices, integrated media & acoustics on set, I am really proud of what we achieved. All of which was wholeheartedly supported by Creative Director @sean___butterly
Shot entirely on the Nike campus with camera support by @koerner_camera lensed with @ancientoptics Petzvalux primes, the @loawa.cine 12mm and a smattering of custom @glaaascollective prisms. Arri LF at 1.43 aspect ratio.

"I used GLAAAS Prisms for a good amount of this film. Often I’d just handhold one, pressed against the metal retaining ring at the front of the lens, and rotate it while shooting. It gave this dimensional feel of movement to the image as it multiplied and stacked. Coupling this effect with the Petvalux glass really worked for certain moments.” Rob Hauer, cinematographer
