Last Friday @brettlego hosted a live stream with @minimalbricks@legocr8tor and @the_tra_company . Later on Thomas bowed out and I joined in and took part in some Christmas wreath building (and maybe a beverage 😉). Even later on we had @mad_viking_bricks@bricksnaps and @codyo0937 join as well, and we went all the way to the end (4 hours) where Instagram kicks you off! Amazing stream, go check it out!
On Saturday I wanted to my wreath a home so I built this front door scene where I could hang it, and threw together a quick reel which I posted yesterday.

A type of Lament Configuration puzzle box as seen in the original classic horror movie Hellraiser, as well as other Clive Barker works. A very fitting item for this particular calendar day.
This puzzle box is believed to open doorways to other, more sinister dimensions. But be careful not to activate it, for the method by which you pass through dimensions will leave you screaming.

Without a doubt, Hellraiser is one of the most intense and frightening horror movies I have ever seen, and also has some incredible special effects. If you like horror, you gotta see it. If not, STAY AWAY!! You have been warned!

I am so happy to finally post the entire image of my Bates Mansion recreated in LEGO using Bricklink Studio.
One of the greatest horror movies of all time brought to us by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock. This was a pleasure to develop in studio, but isn’t quite finished yet! Lots more landscaping is required, and I plan to make a full interior before ordering the pieces and building it in real life!

Building Better Worlds ⬇️
I’ve been away for a bit enjoying the summer break with my family, and recently saw ‘Alien: Romulus’ in theatre. A few days later I re-watched ‘Aliens’ (my fav of the series) and those movies got me thinking about my Aliens BrickHeadz and wanting to revisit my older “Alien” MOCs from years gone by.
So I dove in and revamped my Weyland-Yutani logo (originally posted all the back in 2020). It’s a digital build, nice and basic, with text added using IG Stories. Swipe to see the unedited build and the original build (3rd pic). I’m working on midi and mini scale versions as well, will post when finished.
Will also return to my BrickHeadz soon with the Power Loader, and may may revisit some of my other builds like the APC. Stay tuned! ☺️
If you’re a fan of the ‘Alien’ franchise, go check out Romulus. It’s a decent movie, but a must see IN THEATRE!

Mech 1.0 ⬇️
My first submission for the @letsbuildseries #letsbuildmechs hosted by @brickhuntress !
This one goes back, waaaay back to March 2020 during my first few days of the pandemic shutdown. While sorting bricks I was suddenly hit with inspiration to have a go at making a monochrome mech. The seed part for that inspiration was the two sloped chest pieces.
This was my first ever attempt at a mech, and I really had fun with it, using whatever and only what I had on hand to give it form and function. I tried to stick to only white (with the exception of a couple of accent pieces), so there are aspects I’d like to have done differently, but that’s part of the fun and challenge with limited pieces - making them work!

I’ve been watching BrickVault since 2017 and have always loved their “Top 10 MOCs of the Week”.
It’s incredible and inspiring to see the variety of builds out there in the community, and I often wondered if I might one day make the list.
